Four Stars! Recommended!
Raised Smart was a book that was obviously written by an author passionate about his subject matter. As a parent, I can definitely relate to Dalton's Smith desire to raise his daughter to the best of his and his wife's ability. He offers wonderful advice that can be implemented during pregnancy and throughout the life of the child. I appreciate all the effort Dalton Smith has taken in presenting his ideas for raising a girl. He definitely gives sound advice for everything from nutrition to ways to instruct children.
At times the writing was a bit stilted and in a few cases the wording was repetitive, but overall I would recommend this book for a father (or mother) who was looking for advice on how to best help their daughter (or even son) develop into her (or his) best self.
